During the summer of 2025, Chase Orinski served as a Game Day Operations Intern for the Asheboro Zookeepers, where he built a well-rounded foundation across the business side of running a professional baseball team. He used video technology to produce scouting materials for the coaching staff, giving him early exposure to the kind of player-development work he now carries out for the University of Iowa. Beyond production, he took on frontline game-day roles, selling tickets, merchandise, and concessions while learning how the team approached broadcast and promotion. That summer gave Chase a firsthand look at how every department of a franchise, from the front office to the concourse, works together to put on a game experience that has directly shaped his understanding of team operations as he builds toward a career as a General Manager.
